Dengue fever or often abbreviated to DB is an acute febrile disease caused by the dengue virus from the bite of mosquitoes of the genus Aedes are entered into the human bloodstream . The mosquitoes that carry the disease are Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus . Dengue viruses are divided into four types , but still
related and cause dengue fever . Dengue is often found in tropical and subtropical areas primarily occur in the humid rainy season

Causes of Dengue Fever

Dengue virus is a major cause of febrile illness berdarah.Ada four types of viruses namely DEN - 1 , DEN - 2 , DEN - 3 and DEN - 4 . Symptoms of dengue fever will arise when a person infected with any of the dengue virus . A person can be infected with at least two types of dengue virus in his life , but only once for each of the viruses that can infect the body .
Dengue disease can enter the human body through the bite of a mosquito vector Aedes aegypti mosquito which is the carrier and Aedes albopictus . This mosquito is actually not the cause but he was a carrier of the dengue virus from a person suffering from dengue fever were bitten by the mosquito . The incubation period in the mosquito's body is about 8-10 days and will be transmitted into the body of the person bitten . The dengue virus can be transmitted to offspring .

Stage of Dengue Fever

Stage of dengue fever include regular , classic dengue fever , dengue hemorrhagic fever or dengue shock syndrome and hemorrhagic , which is as follows :
1 . Dengue fever ( classic )
Symptoms of dengue fever that occurs varies depending on the age of the patient . In infants and children characterized by a rash that appears . In adolescence and adulthood , dengue fever characterized by severe headache , high fever and pain behind the eyes , pain in bones and joints , nausea and vomiting and rashes on the skin .
2 . Dengue hemorrhagic fever
Dengue hemorrhagic fever or dengue is often shortened to normally characterized by symptoms such as patients with classical dengue fever and four other major symptoms ie fever , followed by severe bleeding and an enlarged liver and ventilation systems that have failures . Other diagnoses in DHF is damage to blood vessels , damage to lymph vessels , bleeding under the skin such as bruising bluish , thrombocytopenia and red blood cell count increased .
3 . Dengue shock syndrome
Dengue shock syndrome is the highest level of dengue virus infection . It is characterized by the patient will experience all the symptoms of classic dengue and dengue hemorrhagic fever and fluid leaks that occur in the blood vessels , bleeding and shock which causes low blood pressure and fever lasts for 2-7 days . Will be marked by the onset of a cold body , abdominal pain , and difficulty sleeping .

Prevention of Dengue Fever

There is no vaccine or antiviral drugs for dengue fever therefore we have to take precautions of dengue fever :
By controlling the mosquito vector . The trick is to do a bathtub drain / water reservoir at least once a week , replacing the drain vases and flowers and birds if so where drinking has to be exchanged on a regular basis , burying cans and home improvement design .
By using larvae -eating fish and bacteria down reducing vector mosquito vectors .
To reduce the mosquito vectors can be done with or fogging and giving foging  abate powder in water reservoirs .
